Our research group is open to young researchers who wish to work mainly in Sustainable Chemistry by the valorization of biomass derivatives through heterogeneous catalysis. We are also open to explore other areas of heterogeneous catalysis research.

Posgraduate thesis Thesis can be developed in our group under the direction of Dr. Néstor Escalona in the following accredited programs: - Master in Engineering Sciences, Chemical Engineering and Bioprocesses, PUC. - PhD in engineering science, chemical engineering and bioprocessing, PUC. - PhD in Chesmitry, PUC To develop postgraduate theses in our group, you need to be accepted in the respective programs and have a CONICYT, VRI or similar scholarship. Postdoctoral research Applications for Fondecyt Postdoctoral are sponsored through Dr. Néstor Escalona. This scholarship finances projects up to 3 years: monthly salary of approximately 2,200 USD.
